If soup warms the soul, then Eminence Kids aims to leave many families feeling heart-warmed this winter. Recently, Eminence company volunteers from our Eminence Kids charity prepared organic, homemade soups for children undergoing long-term treatment at BC Children’s Hospital and staying at Ronald McDonald House BC (RMH BC) in Vancouver, BC.
We served up hundreds of bowls to young patients and their families, providing healthy nourishment for their hospital stay. With this round of soup deliveries, we have succeeded in distributing well over 1500 nutritious, organic meals to seriously ill children. Inspired by the belief that wholesome, quality food should be an essential part of treatment, Eminence Kids is dedicated to donating organic fruits, vegetables and foods to sick children around the world.

In this latest initiative of the Eminence Kids program, over 50 volunteers cooked and delivered 720 servings of homemade soup. All ingredients in the soups were organic, non-GMO and locally-sourced so the meals contained the highest level of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants possible. After creating three different types of delicious soup, we brought the meals (along with stuffed teddy bears and balloons) to the sick children staying at RMH BC. With an energetic and uplifting vibe, the event brought together both children and volunteers for a memorable evening. We also filled their freezer with more organic soup for families to continue enjoying after the event was over.
Eminence Kids was launched by Eminence’s company President Boldijarre Koronczay who – like many of the children at RMH BC – fought leukemia as a child. We have been truly moved to see firsthand how nutritious, organic foods can make a difference and contribute to the mental and physical recovery of sick children. A portion of proceeds from every Eminence product goes to the Eminence Kids charity – by supporting us, you’re also supporting our cause to provide healthy food to seriously ill children everywhere.
