What we do
Each week, our local, organic farm partner delivers organic fruit to the facility for children undergoing treatment, and their families. These deliveries provide organic fruit for up to 73 families on any given day. The organic fruit delivered is based on the freshest of the season, including apples over the winter, and fun fruits such as tayberries, watermelons and even pineapples in spring and summer.

Eminence Chefs
In addition to our regularly scheduled weekly organic fruit deliveries, volunteers from our corporate head office in Vancouver give their time to make fresh, homemade, organic soups for children and their families at the BC Children’s Hospital each winter. As the seasons turn chilly, nothing is more comforting than a bowl of hot soup! First, we visit a professional commercial kitchen. There, led by a team of award-winning expert chefs, we prepare soups that are balanced in nutrition and flavor, and appeal to kids and adults alike. The soups are created from exclusively organic ingredients to impart nature’s healthiest vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants.
Eminence Serves
After hundreds of gallons of handmade, organic soup are lovingly prepared and packaged by our volunteers, another team of dedicated volunteers serves the soup to children undergoing care at the BC Children’s Hospital. The children and their families set aside their worries for an evening, enjoying the fresh, nutritious meal cooked and served with care. Many gallons are reserved for the families to enjoy over the next few days, as a healthy, on-the-go meal without needing much time or work from their busy schedule. Our soup serving night is heartfelt, emotional and inspiring for all who attend.

Eminence is Inspired
We are continually motivated by the children at this facility who are undergoing serious treatments to battle their illness. Their optimism, strength and positivity is inspiring. With each visit, we see how strong the family bond is, and how much even the smallest gesture of kindness is appreciated during these times. Seeing the smiles, laughter and playful moments from the children we provide food for on a weekly basis, inspires each of us to do more and help as much as possible. Their sheer joy for life and endless enthusiasm warms our hearts as we’re reminded just how much every little bit helps.
