Leaders and visionaries selected from across the wellness industry, including Eminence Organics General Manager Attila Koronczay and President Boldijarre Koronczay, gathered in early October for the 11th Annual Global Wellness Summit.
The multi-day event was a catalyst of plans and ideas to invigorate our population’s health and well-being, including this year’s initiative – a so-called “Wellness Moonshot” to eradicate chronic and preventable disease. With a keen eye towards Eminence Kids Foundation, Attila Koronczay shares his takeaways and experiences from this year’s Global Wellness Summit.
Global Wellness Institute declared a “Wellness Moonshot” to eradicate preventable and chronic disease. This initiative is a powerful and broad-reaching movement, which pairs beautifully with the Eminence Kids Foundation’s specific work to educate on the healing powers of organic nutrition. What are your thoughts on this?
The Wellness Moonshot is about preventable disease and though the efforts towards this must come from many angles, I know that organic nutrition can and should be a cornerstone. If we nourish our bodies with organic foods as children, our body’s ability to maintain a hearty immune system is much more likely. There’s a great opportunity to weave organic nutrition into Global Wellness Summit’s Wellness Moonshot. At the Summit, we engaged with Dr. Sergio Pecorelli as part of the Wellness for Children initiative and Patricia Ladis of Kima Wellness, who both share our passion for organic nutrition as a foundation for a healthy life.
How does Eminence Organics plan to be involved with the Global Wellness Initiative and support the Wellness Moonshot’s mission to combat preventable disease?
Boldijarre joined the Summit’s Wellness for Children Initiative, along with Eminence Organic Skin Care PR Manager Jessica Timberlake . Jessica also accepted the Chairperson seat representing Canada on the Women in Wellness Committee. At Eminence Organics, we believe it is a priority to become a part of the dynamic, worldwide leadership community with the long-term goal to positively influence the world’s well-being. Our Eminence Organics mission has always been to enhance well-being naturally and we’re thrilled to now be a part of this larger group, united towards one goal. We’re humbled, excited and grateful for this arena to share both the Eminence Organics and the Eminence Kids Foundation mission above and beyond our local partnerships and our supportive spas. Organic nutrition is a benefit for our kids and our planet.
How did the Global Wellness Summit impact you personally?
My greatest takeaway from attending the Global Wellness Summit was the commitment across several industries to bettering the entire world. From skin care companies, to medical researchers, to wellness community leaders, to media, to hospitality brands – leaders from over 40 countries are unafraid to champion wellness in every way, shape and form. Several sessions at this year’s conference mentioned the wellness of pregnant women impacting the lifelong health of their future children. Many vibrant discussions took place around the upcoming Millennial generation as a major wellness consumer and how this influential group was raised will shape the future of wellness.
Through many conversations, I had the opportunity to teach others about Eminence Kids Foundation and was met with a lot of interest. This audience is already well-informed of the importance of organic nutrition to help the body heal and recover when undergoing aggressive treatments. We’re hopeful for many exciting new partnerships.
We had such a rewarding experience at the Global Wellness Summit. It was incredible to meet thought leaders such as Andrew Weil, Dr. Oz and artist Louis Schwartzberg. Experiencing the world-class Breakers Palm Beach was also an incredible opportunity. The company culture is centered around wellness, and it was amazing to see the staff live the truths in action. Boldijarre also had the chance to chat with Well+Good in a Facebook Live, so it was fun to connect directly with their audience and share some unique skin care tips and a bit of Eminence Organics’ history.
I’m generally in awe of the audacity of the Global Wellness Summit – declaring a worldwide mission to eradicate preventable disease! This is a huge vision and very brave. On behalf of everyone at Eminence Organic Skin Care and the Eminence Kids Foundation, we are proud to be a part of this movement.
