Our Story
At the heart of the Eminence Kids Foundation is the Koronczay family, who have a personal connection to this cause. Boldijarre Koronczay, president of Eminence Organic Skin Care and founder of the Eminence Kids Foundation, faced a life-threatening illness at a young age. With his only brother keeping watch by his side, Boldijarre not only survived, but triumphed. The pair are committed to a lifelong dedication of helping sick children. Now, with the help of hundreds of international supporters, the Eminence “family” has grown worldwide! The Eminence Kids Foundation was honored to be voted as an Innovate Award Winner for Leadership & Philanthropy by spa industry professionals through the International Spa Association. We would like to extend our gratitude to the spa community for recognizing our commitment to helping seriously ill children.
Surviving Childhood Leukemia
When he was just 4 years old, our founder, Boldijarre Koronczay, was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood Leukemia and was given a less than 0.1% chance of survival. After a combination of unsuccessful medical treatments, doctors advised moving Boldijarre to children’s hospice. Determined to save their little boy, his parents and grandparents decided to take matters into their own hands. The Koronczays leveraged generations upon generations of knowledge of the nutrients that natural, organic and Biodynamic foods provide to nourish and heal little Boldijarre. Boldijarre recovered completely and to this day, the holistic care he received instilled a strong belief that nourishing the body both inside and out is vital to achieve total health and wellness.

A Family Effort
Mr. and Mrs. Koronczay, along with Boldijarre and his brother, Attila, dreamed of helping other sick children recover with healthy, organic nutrition. In 2013, they self-funded the beginnings of the Eminence Kids Foundation by delivering hundreds of liters of organic, cold-pressed juice to the very same hospital in Budapest, Hungary where Boldijarre was treated. Today, the family continues to contribute to the hospital through organic food delivery, as well as providing funding for life-saving medical equipment. Although long since retired, Mrs. Koronczay herself still passes out Eminence Kids teddy bears to children undergoing treatment to brighten their day.
